With 28 years of experience in the potato sector, Daniel has sourced seed, fresh and processing potatoes in Europe, the UK and most recently across Canada and the United States, as Vice President of Agriculture, North America for McCain Foods.   

​

For 15 years with McCain Foods, he has led local Agriculture teams as well as held a seat on the Global Agriculture Council. In this role, his responsibilities include the relationship with Farmers, new variety development, Agronomy, contracting and sustainability. 

​

Dan moved to the Chicago area with his partner Shanie and their son Seb (7) and have since had baby Safina (4). There are a lot of potatoes, mostly fries, at their family dinner table.
