Laurel Caes is a platform evangelist at John Deere. In this role, Laurel is responsible for articulating the benefits of our newest offerings to customers and driving enthusiasm and understanding of those benefits across key external stakeholders.
As a lifelong learner, Laurel has focused her career at John Deere around experiencing different perspectives both internal to the company, as well as external with customers and the general public. Prior to her current role, Laurel was the strategic site lead for John Deere’s newest Innovation Hub in Austin, Texas, where she was responsible for enabling the company to further build out its growing technology team interested in solving some of the world’s most rewarding challenges. Her enthusiasm and passion for the business support the focus to pave the way for John Deere as a leader in the tech industry. Laurel has held several other roles within John Deere including public relations manager focused on technology and innovation, field manager supporting Texas dealers and various roles at John Deere Financial.
Laurel grew up on a farm in the Midwest and has lived in various cities across the US. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from St. Ambrose University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
